We are actively seeking new internship sites to fulfill the requests of the nearly 200 hopeful upperclassmen students who are looking to do an internship during the 2026 - 2027 school year.
Can you help?
WHO CAN BE AN INTERNSHIP MENTOR?
- We work with businesses within a 20-30 mile radius of SHS
- Students are interested in ALL fields – with as many students as we have seeking
WHEN ARE INTERNSHIPS RUN?
- Typically internships run on a semester-long basis
- September - January
- January - May
- We build internships into a students school day so they can leave school early to report to their internship.
- Many paid internships extend through the work day, especially in the trades
- We can often be flexible to fit the business availability and the students schedule
